Gentle as the wind blows

The words I hear

Are foreign to me

They always sound like no

But this can't be

Please say it's not so

I love you too much

To hear the words no

My love is like a flower

It grows and grows and grows

Bigger than the forest

Taller than the tallest of trees

Your love means too much to me

Even in comparison to these

You never told me

No you never said it was so

So tell me plainly

Please let me know

Your eyes tell the story

I want to hear

Your eyes speak the message

That's pleasing to my ear

Your eyes are the windows

Which guards the secrets to your soul

Countless calls on the telephone

Beautiful as the setting sun

Refreshing as a springtime rain
